Don’t Block the Box Signage Installation 

The Association actively advocated for “Don’t Block the Box” markings at the intersection of the MacArthur Causeway and Fountain Street. After months of delay, FDOT finalized an agreement with the City; the markings have now been applied in mid-October, and two “Don’t Block the Intersection” signs are expected to be installed in December. The new markings are expected to improve safety in the westbound lane by discouraging drivers from entering the intersection when traffic ahead is stopped, which should help prevent gridlock and reduce the risk of collisions.
