Special Event Permit – City of Miami Beach Ordinance 2025-4705

After petitioning and working closely with Miami Beach Commissioners, we are pleased to report that last Wednesday, the City of Miami Beach passed an ordinance requiring special events permits for large-scale residential parties and events on our islands and in all Miami Beach residential communities.

Ordinance 2025-4705 addresses noise disturbances and public safety concerns caused by commercial-grade events in residential communities. Commercial-grade parties pose security, parking, fire and safety risks to surrounding homes and the broader community.

We are grateful to Commissioner Alex Fernandez for sponsoring the Ordinance and to Commissioner Laura Dominguez for co-sponsoring it. We also appreciate the unanimous support of Mayor Steven Meiner and all the Commissioners in protecting the best interests of our community and the communities of Miami Beach.
