Curbed Miami: Birdman lists Miami Beach home for $20M

It’s been a busy quarter for Birdmans in the Miami real estate game.

A couple of months after former Miami Heat center Chris “Birdman” Anderson listed his Pinecrest home for $4 million and rapper Bryan “Birdman” Williams wants out of his monstrous Palm Island mansion.

The co-founder of Cash Money Records (encompassing Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, and more) is listing his Miami Beach estate for $20 million, per The Real Deal. Birdman purchased the 20,000-square-foot home in 2011 for over $14 million from Rockstar Energy Drink founder Russell Weiner, who threw down $20 million last summer for a beauty on North Bay Road.

The Palm Island estate used to belong to record producer Scott Storch before he lost the place to foreclosure and Weiner snatched it up for $7 million.

Millions were spent renovating the place, according to Brett Harris of Douglas Elliman, who is co-listing the residence with Alex Daguer of Fortune International Realty. The home has 12 bathrooms, 100 feet of water frontage, and a dock that can accomodate a 100-foot yacht. Also included: a summer kitchen with a pizza oven; two wine cellars; a home theater; volleyball court; and bayside pool.

However, the master bedroom may be the most interesting detail—it’s a combination of three bedrooms and spans about 3,500 square feet!
