The West Palm Utility Undergrounding Committee, on behalf of the PHS Islands Association, is excited to announce that AT&T will install buried fiber optic infrastructure (East Palm) and aerial fiber optic infrastructure (West Palm) starting at the end of December 2024.

AT&T crews will be working in the right-of-ways during this period. They will try to minimize disruption to residents while installing the new 100% passive fiber optic network.

Once the installation is complete, Palm Island residents must contact AT&T to transition their current service to the new fiber network or to subscribe if not yet an AT&T customer. Doorhangers will be distributed to inform residents when the service is ready for activation.
