In an effort to improve and maximize the usage of the Palm Island Park tennis courts for residents, the Parks & Recreation Department will be implementing a pilot program starting on September 3rd, 2024. This program will be managed by Canas Racket, the current contractor for the Flamingo Tennis Center.

As part of the pilot program, Canas Racket will introduce a new reservation system at the Palm Island Park tennis courts (the Canas Racket App powered by PlaybyPoint), designed to maximize reservation efficiency. Canas Racket will also offer residents the ability to book private lessons and participate in other programs tailored to the tennis community, with one court designated specifically for these services.

The following booking rates and rules will apply at the Palm Island Park tennis courts:

• $3/hour per player for residents of Miami Beach
• Non-residents are not permitted to book a court
• $17/hour per player for guest players
